Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 7, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a stage actor writer, director and writer, as is her mother, Sara Wood, is an actress and acting coach. Her brothers older than her are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who are also actors. Evan and her brothers frequently performed at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh.
