Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born on
September 4 1981, in Houston. Tina Knowles-Lawson, her mom, designs their
sparkling costumes. Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's managing director.
Solange, her older sister (4 years older than her), has released her debut
album. She dances along with her sister during DC-3 performances. Beyonce's
Louisiana Creole & African descent. She and her group were found by
Whitney Houston. Lovefool by The Cardigans is one of her favourite songs. A
pair of metallic path work boots is her most coveted piece of clothes. She is
the creator and producer of many of the group’s hit songs, including
"Jumpin Jumpin", “Bootylicious", “Nasty Girls”,
"Independent Women", and "Happy Face". The lead singer of
the group's group singing with Destiny's child. The group toured with Christina
Aguilera as her opening act (2000). She also toured together with TLC as the
opening act (1999). The cat is named Master P. She attended the High School for
the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. Solange's older half-sister
and Nixon & Koi Knowles big sister. Star Search (1983): The singer
appeared. In 2001, she became the first African American woman to win the ASCAP
Pop Songwriter of the Year Award. She is a huge lover and admirer of Middle
Eastern music. Her most popular hit song is her song "Crazy in Love"
that she released in 2003. She was a part of several awards shows during 2003
that included the Radio Music Awards (MTV Europe Video Music Awards), Billboard
Awards and the Billboard Awards. In November of 2003, Bono of U2 organized the
South African AIDS benefit concert. It was a way to fight the AIDS epidemic in
sub Saharan Africa. She took home five Grammy Awards for her song
"Dangerously in Love" (February 8, 2004). Mathew, her father, is
African-American. Tina is of Louisiana Creole descent. Her ancestors are mostly
African and French and come from Louisiana and Canada. Beyonce also descends
1/32 Irish, and her maternal side is distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian- and
Chinese roots. According to some sources, she developed a stage persona called
"Sasha" to get over her shyness.
